عَنْ حُذَيْفَةَ رَضيَ اللهُ عنهُ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: «إِنَّهَا سَتَكُونُ أُمَرَاءُ يَكْذِبُونَ وَيَظْلِمُونَ، فَمَنْ صَدَّقَهُمْ بِكَذِبِهِمْ وَأَعَانَهُمْ عَلَى ظُلْمِهِمْ فَلَيْسَ مِنَّي، وَلَسْتُ مِنْهُ، وَلَا يَرِدُ عَلَيَّ الْحَوْضَ، وَمَنْ لَمْ يُصَدِّقْهُمْ بِكَذِبِهِمْ وَلَمْ يُعِنْهُمْ عَلَى ظُلْمِهِمْ فَهُوَ مِنِّي، وَأَنَا مِنْهُ، وَسَيَرِدُ عَلَيَّ الْحَوْضَ».
Imepokelewa kutoka kwa Jabiri -radhi za Allah ziwe juu yake- kutoka kwa Mtume -rehema na amani ziwe juu yake- amesema: "Hakika watakuja viongozi wanaosema uongo na kudhulumu (watu), atakayewasadikisha kwa uongo wao na akawasaidia katika dhulma yao basi huyo si katika mimi, na mi si miongoni mwake, na wala hatokunywa katika Hodhi langu, na ambaye hatowaamini kwa uongo wao na akawa hakuwasaidia katika dhulma yao, basi huyo yuko miongoni mwangu, na mimi ni miongoni mwake, na atakunywa katika Hodhi langu".
Hudhayfah (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that the Prophet (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) said: "There will be rulers who tell lies and oppress; whoever believes their lies and assists them in their oppression does not belong to me, and I do not belong to him, and he will not come to the Hawd (Basin). But whoever does not believe their lies and does not assist them in their oppression belongs to me, and I belong to him, and he will come to the Hawd."
