Abu al-‘Abbās, ‘Abdullah ibn ‘Abbās (may Allah be pleased with him and his father) reported: I was riding behind the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) one day and he said: "Hey boy, I shall teach you some words: Be mindful of Allah, and Allah will protect you. Be mindful of Allah, and you will find Him at your side. If you ask, ask Allah; if you seek help, seek help from Allah. And know that if the whole people gathered to benefit you with something, they would not benefit you except with what Allah has decreed for you, and if they gathered to harm you with something, they would not harm you except with what Allah has decreed against you. The pens have been lifted, and the scrolls have dried." In another version by other than At-Tirmidhi, it reads: "Be mindful of Allah, you will find Him before you. Recognize Allah at the time of prosperity, and He will recognize you at the time of adversity. And know that what had missed you was not going to befall you, and what had befallen you was not going to miss you. And know that victory comes with patience, relief comes with distress, and ease comes with hardship."

Kutoka kwa Muadhi bin Jabali radhi za Mwenyezi Mungu ziwe juu yake amesema: Nilisema ewe Mtume wa Mwenyezi Mungu! Hebu nieleze amali itakayoniingiza peponi na kuniweka mbali na Moto, akasema: "Hakika umeniuliza kuhusu jambo kubwa, lakini nijepesi kwa yule atakayefanyiwa wepesi na Mwenyezi Mungu: Ni kumuabudu Mwenyezi Mungu bila kumshirikisha na chochote, na kusimamisha swala, na kutoa zaka, na kufunga mwezi mtukufu wa Ramadhani, na kuhiji. kisha akasema Mtume: Je, nikujulishe milango ya kheri? Kisha akasema Mtume: Je nikueleze kichwa cha mambo yote na nguzo yake na kilele chake? Nikajibu ndio ewe mjumbe wa Mwenyezi Mungu, akasema: kichwa cha mambo yote ni Uislamu, na nguzo yake ni Swala, na kilele chake ni Jihadi. Kisha akasema: Je nikujulishe kinachoyahifadhi na kuyatunza matendo hayo? Nikasema ndio ewe Mtume wa Mwenyezi Mungu, akaushika ulimi wake kisha akasema: Zuia ulimi wako, nikamuuliza: Ewe Mtume wa Mwenyezi Mungu je tutahesabiwa kwa kila tunacho kizungumza? Akasema: Akukose mama yako, hakuna kitakacho waingiza watu wengi motoni kama maneno wanayoyazungumza."!

Mu‘ādh ibn Jabal (may Allah be pleased with him) reported: I said: O Messenger of Allah, tell me of an action that lets me enter Paradise and keep me away from Hellfire. He said: "You have asked about something grave, but it is easy for whomever Allah makes it easy for. Worship Allah, without associating anything with Him, offer the prayer, pay Zakah, fast Ramadan, and perform Hajj. Then, he said: Shall I not guide you to the gates of goodness? Fasting is a shield, charity extinguishes sins as water extinguishes fire, and a man's prayer in the middle of night. Then, he recited: {Their sides forsake their beds} until he reached {what they used to do.} Then he added: Shall I tell you of the essence of the matter, its pillar, and its peak? I replied: Yes, O Messenger of Allah. He said: The essence of this matter is Islam, its pillar is the prayer, and its peak is Jihad. Then he said: Shall I tell you of what holds all these things? I said: Yes, O Messenger of Allah. He took hold of his tongue and said: Keep this under control. I asked: O Prophet of Allah, shall we be held accountable for what we say? He replied: May your mother lose you! What else can cast people on their faces—or on their noses—except the harvest of their tongues?!"

Kutoka kwa Anas bin Maliki radhi za Mwenyezi Mungu ziwe juu yake- kutoka kwa Mtume rehema na Amani zimfikie, yakuwa yeye Amesema: "Hakika ukubwa wa malipo huendana sawa pamoja na ukubwa wa matatizo, na hakika Mwenyezi Mungu Mtukufu anapowapenda watu huwapa mtihani; atakayeridhia atapata radhi, na atakayechukia atapata hasira (za Mwenyezi Mungu)."

Anas ibn Mālik (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that the Prophet (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) said: “The greater the tribulation, the greater the reward. When Allah loves people, He tests them. So whoever is content, for him is pleasure; and whoever is discontent, for him is displeasure.”

Kutoka kwa Adiy bin Hatim-Radhi za Mwenyezi Mungu ziwe juu yake-: Yakwamba yeye alimsikia Mtume rehema na Amani ziwe juu yake Akisoma aya hii: "Wamewafanya wanachuoni wao na watawa wao kuwa ni miungu kinyume na Mwenyezi Mungu na Masihi mwana wa Mariam, na hawakuamrishwa ila ni kumuabudu Mungu mmoja, hapana Mola ispokuwa yeye, ametakasika na yale wanayomshirikisha nayo" Nikasema kumwambia: Hakika sisi hatuwaabudu wao, Akasema: "Kwani hawaharamishi aliyoyahalalisha Mwenyezi Mungu nanyi mkayaharamisha? na wanahalalisha aliyoyaharamisha Mwenyezi Mungu nanyi mkayahalalisha? Nikasema: Ndivyo, Akasema: Basi huko ndiko kuwaabudu".

‘Adiyy ibn Hātim (may Allah be pleased with him) reported: I heard the Prophet (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) recite this verse: {They have taken their scholars and monks as lords besides Allah, and [also] the Messiah, the son of Mariyam. And they were not commanded except to worship one God; there is no deity except Him. Exalted is He above whatever they associate with Him.} So I said to him: "We do not worship them." He replied: "Don't they forbid what Allah allows, so you forbid it? Don't they allow what Allah forbids, so you allow it?" I said: 'Yes.' He said: "That is how you worship them."

Imepokewa Kutoka kwa Abuu Huraira -Radhi za Allah ziwe juu yake- amesema: Amesema Mtume -Rehema na amani ziwe juu yake-: "Atakayempa muda mwenye hali ngumu, au akamfutia deni, Allah atampa kivuli siku ya kiyama chini ya kivuli cha Arshi yake siku ambayo hapatokuwa na kivuli isipokuwa kivuli chake."

Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) reported: The Messenger of Allah (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever gives respite to an insolvent person or remits part of his debt, Allah will shade him on the Day of Judgment in the shade of His Throne, on a day when there will be no shade but His shade."

Imepokewa kutoka kwa Bin Abbas -Radhi za Mwenyezi Mungu ziwe juu yake na baba yake- amesema: Siku moja nilikuwa nyuma ya Mtume -Rehema na amani ziwe juu yake- akasema: "Ewe kijana, hakika mimi ninakufundisha maneno, muhifadhi Mwenyezi Mungu naye atakuhifadhi, muhifadhi Mwenyezi Mungu utamkuta uendako, utakapoomba basi muombe Mwenyezi Mungu, na utakapotaka msaada basi taka msaada kwa Mwenyezi Mungu, na tambua kuwa umma mzima lau wangekusanyika ili wakunufaishe kwa chochote, basi wasingelikunufaisha isipokuwa kwa kitu alicho kuandikia Mwenyezi Mungu kuwa chako, na lau kama wangelikusanyika ili wakudhuru kwa chochote, basi wasingeweza kukudhuru isipokuwa kwa kitu alichokiandika Mwenyezi Mungu dhidi yako, kalamu zimenyanyuliwa na kurasa zimekauka".

Kutoka kwa bin Mas'udi -Radhi za Mwenyezi Mungu ziwe juu yake- Amesema: Amesema Mjumbe wa Mwenyezi Mungu -Rehema na Amani ziwe juu yake-: "Atakayepatwa na umasikini akaushusha kwa watu hautozibwa umasikini wake, na atakayeushusha kwa Mwenyezi Mungu, basi ni karibu zaidi Mwenyezi Mungu kumpa riziki ya haraka au ya baadaye".

Ibn Mas‘ūd (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that the Prophet (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) said: "He who is inflicted with poverty and seeks relief from people, he will not be relieved; whereras he who seeks relief from Allah, he will be given sustenance from Allah sooner or later."

Imepokelewa kutoka kwa Abuu Barza Al Aslamia -Radhi za Allah ziwe juu yake- amesema: Amesema Mtume -Rehema na amani ziwe juu yake-: "Hautonyanyuka unyayo wa mja siku ya Kiyama mpaka aulizwe kuhusu umri wake aliumaliza katika mambo yapi? Na kuhusu elimu yake aliifanyia kazi katika nini? Na kuhusu mali yake ni wapi aliichuma? Na aliitoa katika mambo gani? Na kuhusu mwili wake aliumaliza katika mambo yapi?"

Abu Barzah al-Aslami (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that the Messenger of Allah (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Man's feet will not move from their place on the Day of Judgment until he is asked about his life, in what he let it perish; about his knowledge, what he did with it; about his money, from where he earned it and on what he spent it on; and about his body, and how he wore it out."

Kutoka kwa Abuu Huraira radhi za Allah ziwe juu yake: Kuwa Mtume -rehema na amani ziwe juu yake- Amesema: "Mtu huwa katika mwenendo wa rafiki yake wa karibu, basi na aangalie mmoja wenu ni nani anayemfanya kuwa rafiki yake"

Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) reported: The Prophet (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) said: "A man follows the religion (i.e. ways and manners) of his close friend. So, each of you should carefully consider whom he takes as his intimate friend."

Imepokelewa kutoka kwa Abuu Huraira -radhi za Allah ziwe juu yake- amesema: amesema Mtume -rehema na amani ziwe juu yake-: "Majaribio hayaachi kumpata muumini wa kiume na muumini wa kike katika nafsi yake, na watoto wake, na mali yake mpaka atakapokutana na Mwenyezi Mungu ilhali hana dhambi hata moja."

Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) reported: The Messenger of Allah (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The believer, man or woman, will continue to be tested concerning his or her self, children, and property until they meet Allah without any sins in their record."
