An-Naazi'aat (النَّازِعَات) · Qur'ani Tukufu

وَٱلنَّٰزِعَٰتِ غَرْقًۭا ١

Naapa kwa wanao komoa kwa nguvu,

By those [angels] who extract with violence

وَٱلنَّٰشِطَٰتِ نَشْطًۭا ٢

Na kwa wanao toa kwa upole,

And [by] those who remove with ease

وَٱلسَّٰبِحَٰتِ سَبْحًۭا ٣

Na wanao ogelea,

And [by] those who glide [as if] swimming

فَٱلسَّٰبِقَٰتِ سَبْقًۭا ٤

Wakishindana mbio,

And those who race each other in a race

فَٱلْمُدَبِّرَٰتِ أَمْرًۭا ٥

Wakidabiri mambo.

And those who arrange [each] matter,

يَوْمَ تَرْجُفُ ٱلرَّاجِفَةُ ٦

Siku kitapo tetemeka cha kutetemeka,

On the Day the blast [of the Horn] will convulse [creation],

تَتْبَعُهَا ٱلرَّادِفَةُ ٧

Kifuate cha kufuatia.

There will follow it the subsequent [one].

قُلُوبٌۭ يَوْمَئِذٍۢ وَاجِفَةٌ ٨

Siku hiyo nyoyo zitapiga piga,

Hearts, that Day, will tremble,

أَبْصَٰرُهَا خَٰشِعَةٌۭ ٩

Macho yatainama chini.

Their eyes humbled.

يَقُولُونَ أَءِنَّا لَمَرْدُودُونَ فِى ٱلْحَافِرَةِ ١٠

Sasa wanasema: Ati kweli tutarudishwa kwenye hali ya kwanza?

They are [presently] saying, "Will we indeed be returned to [our] former state [of life]?

أَءِذَا كُنَّا عِظَٰمًۭا نَّخِرَةًۭ ١١

Hata tukiwa mifupa iliyo bunguliwa?

Even if we should be decayed bones?

قَالُوا۟ تِلْكَ إِذًۭا كَرَّةٌ خَاسِرَةٌۭ ١٢

Wanasema: Basi marejeo hayo ni yenye khasara!

They say, "That, then, would be a losing return."

فَإِنَّمَا هِىَ زَجْرَةٌۭ وَٰحِدَةٌۭ ١٣

Kwa hakika hayo ni ukelele mmoja tu,

Indeed, it will be but one shout,

فَإِذَا هُم بِٱلسَّاهِرَةِ ١٤

Mara watakuwa kwenye uwanda wa mkutano!

And suddenly they will be [alert] upon the earth's surface.

هَلْ أَتَىٰكَ حَدِيثُ مُوسَىٰٓ ١٥

Je! Imekufikia hadithi ya Musa?

Has there reached you the story of Moses? -

إِذْ نَادَىٰهُ رَبُّهُۥ بِٱلْوَادِ ٱلْمُقَدَّسِ طُوًى ١٦

Mola wake Mlezi alipo mwita katika bonde takatifu la T'uwaa, akamwambia:

When his Lord called to him in the sacred valley of Tuwa,

ٱذْهَبْ إِلَىٰ فِرْعَوْنَ إِنَّهُۥ طَغَىٰ ١٧

Nenda kwa Firauni. Hakika yeye amezidi jeuri.

"Go to Pharaoh. Indeed, he has transgressed.

فَقُلْ هَل لَّكَ إِلَىٰٓ أَن تَزَكَّىٰ ١٨

Umwambie: Je! Unapenda kujitakasa?

And say to him, 'Would you [be willing to] purify yourself

وَأَهْدِيَكَ إِلَىٰ رَبِّكَ فَتَخْشَىٰ ١٩

Nami nitakuongoa ufike kwa Mola wako Mlezi, upate kumcha.

And let me guide you to your Lord so you would fear [Him]?'"

فَأَرَىٰهُ ٱلْءَايَةَ ٱلْكُبْرَىٰ ٢٠

Basi alimwonyesha Ishara kubwa.

And he showed him the greatest sign,

فَكَذَّبَ وَعَصَىٰ ٢١

Lakini aliikadhibisha na akaasi.

But Pharaoh denied and disobeyed.

ثُمَّ أَدْبَرَ يَسْعَىٰ ٢٢

Kisha alirudi nyuma, akaingia kufanya juhudi.

Then he turned his back, striving.

فَحَشَرَ فَنَادَىٰ ٢٣

Akakusanya watu akanadi.

And he gathered [his people] and called out

فَقَالَ أَنَا۠ رَبُّكُمُ ٱلْأَعْلَىٰ ٢٤

Akasema: Mimi ndiye Mola wenu Mlezi mkuu kabisa.

And said, "I am your most exalted lord."

فَأَخَذَهُ ٱللَّهُ نَكَالَ ٱلْءَاخِرَةِ وَٱلْأُولَىٰٓ ٢٥

Basi hapo Mwenyezi Mungu akamshika kumuadhibu kwa la mwisho na la mwanzo.

So Allah seized him in exemplary punishment for the last and the first [transgression].

إِنَّ فِى ذَٰلِكَ لَعِبْرَةًۭ لِّمَن يَخْشَىٰٓ ٢٦

Kwa hakika katika haya yapo mazingatio kwa wanao ogopa.

Indeed in that is a warning for whoever would fear [Allah].

ءَأَنتُمْ أَشَدُّ خَلْقًا أَمِ ٱلسَّمَآءُ ۚ بَنَىٰهَا ٢٧

Je! Ni vigumu zaidi kukuumbeni nyinyi au mbingu? Yeye ndiye aliye ijenga!

Are you a more difficult creation or is the heaven? Allah constructed it.

رَفَعَ سَمْكَهَا فَسَوَّىٰهَا ٢٨

Akainua kimo chake, na akaitengeneza vizuri.

He raised its ceiling and proportioned it.

وَأَغْطَشَ لَيْلَهَا وَأَخْرَجَ ضُحَىٰهَا ٢٩

Na akautia giza usiku wake, na akautokeza mchana wake.

And He darkened its night and extracted its brightness.

وَٱلْأَرْضَ بَعْدَ ذَٰلِكَ دَحَىٰهَآ ٣٠

Na juu ya hivyo ameitandaza ardhi.

And after that He spread the earth.

أَخْرَجَ مِنْهَا مَآءَهَا وَمَرْعَىٰهَا ٣١

Akatoa ndani yake maji yake na malisho yake,

He extracted from it its water and its pasture,

وَٱلْجِبَالَ أَرْسَىٰهَا ٣٢

Na milima akaisimamisha,

And the mountains He set firmly

مَتَٰعًۭا لَّكُمْ وَلِأَنْعَٰمِكُمْ ٣٣

Kwa nafuu yenu na mifugo yenu.

As provision for you and your grazing livestock.

فَإِذَا جَآءَتِ ٱلطَّآمَّةُ ٱلْكُبْرَىٰ ٣٤

Basi itakapo fika hiyo balaa kubwa,

But when there comes the greatest Overwhelming Calamity -

يَوْمَ يَتَذَكَّرُ ٱلْإِنسَٰنُ مَا سَعَىٰ ٣٥

Siku ambayo mtu atakumbuka aliyo yafanya,

The Day when man will remember that for which he strove,

وَبُرِّزَتِ ٱلْجَحِيمُ لِمَن يَرَىٰ ٣٦

Na Jahannamu itadhihirishwa kwa mwenye kuona,

And Hellfire will be exposed for [all] those who see -

فَأَمَّا مَن طَغَىٰ ٣٧

Basi ama yule aliye zidi ujeuri,

So as for he who transgressed

وَءَاثَرَ ٱلْحَيَوٰةَ ٱلدُّنْيَا ٣٨

Na akakhiari maisha ya dunia,

And preferred the life of the world,

فَإِنَّ ٱلْجَحِيمَ هِىَ ٱلْمَأْوَىٰ ٣٩

Kwa hakika Jahannamu ndiyo makaazi yake!

Then indeed, Hellfire will be [his] refuge.

وَأَمَّا مَنْ خَافَ مَقَامَ رَبِّهِۦ وَنَهَى ٱلنَّفْسَ عَنِ ٱلْهَوَىٰ ٤٠

Na ama yule anaye ogopa kusimamishwa mbele ya Mola wake Mlezi, na akajizuilia nafsi yake na matamanio,

But as for he who feared the position of his Lord and prevented the soul from [unlawful] inclination,

فَإِنَّ ٱلْجَنَّةَ هِىَ ٱلْمَأْوَىٰ ٤١

Basi huyo, Pepo itakuwa ndiyo makaazi yake!

Then indeed, Paradise will be [his] refuge.

يَسْـَٔلُونَكَ عَنِ ٱلسَّاعَةِ أَيَّانَ مُرْسَىٰهَا ٤٢

Wanakuuliza Saa (ya Kiyama) itakuwa lini?

They ask you, [O Muhammad], about the Hour: when is its arrival?

فِيمَ أَنتَ مِن ذِكْرَىٰهَآ ٤٣

Una nini wewe hata uitaje?

In what [position] are you that you should mention it?

إِلَىٰ رَبِّكَ مُنتَهَىٰهَآ ٤٤

Kwa Mola wako Mlezi ndio mwisho wake.

To your Lord is its finality.

إِنَّمَآ أَنتَ مُنذِرُ مَن يَخْشَىٰهَا ٤٥

Kwa hakika wewe ni mwonyaji tu kwa mwenye kuikhofu.

You are only a warner for those who fear it.

كَأَنَّهُمْ يَوْمَ يَرَوْنَهَا لَمْ يَلْبَثُوٓا۟ إِلَّا عَشِيَّةً أَوْ ضُحَىٰهَا ٤٦

Ni kama kwamba wao siku watapo iona (hiyo Saa) hawakukaa ila jioni moja tu, au mchana wake.

It will be, on the Day they see it, as though they had not remained [in the world] except for an afternoon or a morning thereof.
