وعن أبي أمامة، رضي الله عنه عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم قال: "من صام يومًا في سبيل الله جعل الله بينه وبين النار خندقًا كما بين السماء والأرض" ((رواه الترمذي وقال: حديث حسن صحيح)).
Kutoka kwa Abu Umamah (Radhi za Allah ziwe juu yake) reported: "Mtume (Rehema na amani za Allah ziwe juu yake) said, "He who observes Saum (kufunga) for a day in the Cause of Allah, Allah will keep his face from Motoni at a distance equivalent to that between heaven and the earth."."
Abu Umamah (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "He who observes Saum (fasting) for a day in the Cause of Allah, Allah will keep his face from Hell-fire at a distance equivalent to that between heaven and the earth.".
