Kutoka kwa Abdallah bin Masoud -Radhi za Allah ziwe juu yake- amesema: amesema Mtume -Rehema na amani ziwe juu yake- akisema: "Atakayesoma herufi moja katika kitabu cha Allah basi atapata jema moja kwa herufi hiyo, na jema hilo hulipwa mara kumi mfano wake, sisemi (Alif Laam Miim) ni herufi, lakini (Alif) ni herufi, na (Laam) ni herufi, na (Miim) ni herufi".

‘Abdullāh ibn Mas‘ūd (may Allah be pleased with him) reported: The Messenger of Allah (may Allah’s peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever recites a letter from the Book of Allah will be credited with a good deed for it, and a good deed is multiplied tenfold. I am not saying that 'Alif-Lām-Mīm' is one letter, but Alif is a letter, Lām is a letter, and Mīm is a letter."

Kutoka kwa Adiy bin Hatim kutoka kwa Mtume -Rehema na amani ziwe juu yake- amesema: "Mayahudi wameghadhibikiwa, na Wakristo ni wapotofu".

‘Adiyy ibn Hātim reported that the Prophet (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The Jews incurred Allah's wrath, and the Christians went astray."

Imepokelewa kutoka kwa Aisha -Radhi za Mwenyezi Mungu ziwe juu yake-: Ya kuwa mtu mmoja alikaa mbele ya Mtume -Rehema na amani ziwe juu yake- akasema: Ewe Mtume wa Mwenyezi Mungu, kwa hakika mimi nina watu niliowamiliki, wakati mwingine wananidanganya na wananifanyia hiyana na wanakwenda kinyume na amri zangu, nahuwa nawatia adabu kwa kuwatukana na kuwapiga, hivyo naulizia kuwa ni vipi itakuwa hali yangu kwa kuwafanyia hayo?Akasema: "Watahesabiwa kwa hiyana waliyokufanyia na kukuasi na kukudanganya, na itahesabiwa adhabu yako uliyowapa basi ikiwa adhabu uliyowapa ipo sawa na makosa yao basi itatosha na hapatakuwa na chochote kwako wala kwao, na ikiwa adhabu uliyowapa ni ya chini kulingana na kosa walilofanya basi utalipwa na utazidishiwa kwenye malipo yako, na ikiwa umewaadhibu zaidi ya walivyokosea yatapunguzwa kutoka kwako malipo ya ziada" Akasema: Basi yule bwana alijitenga na akawa analia kwa sauti ya juu, Mtume -Rehema na amani ziwe juu yake- akamwambia: "Hivi husomi katika kitabu cha Mwenyezi Mungu aliposema: "Na Sisi tutaweka Mizani ya uadilifu siku ya Kiyama na hakuna nafsi yoyote itakayodhulumiwa kwa chochote", mpaka mwisho wa Aya, yule bwana akasema: Nakuapia ewe Mtume wa Mwenyezi Mungu, sijaona kheri iliyopo kati yangu na yao zaidi ya kuwaachia huru, na ninakupa ushuhuda kuwa wao wote kuanzia sasa wako huru".

‘Ā’ishah (may Allah be pleased with her) reported: A man came and sat in front of the Messenger of Allah (may Allah’s peace and blessings be upon him) and said: "O Messenger of Allah, I have two slaves who lie to me, deceive me, and disobey me, and I scold them and hit them. So what is my case concerning them?" He said: "The extent to which they betrayed you, disobeyed you, and lied to you will be measured against how much you punish them. If your punishing them is equal to their sins, the two will be the same, nothing for you and nothing against you. If your punishing them is above their sins, some of your rewards will be taken from you and given to them." The man left, and began weeping and crying aloud. The Messenger of Allah (may Allah’s peace and blessings be upon him) said: "You should read what Allah says in His Book: {We will place the scales of justice on the Day of Resurrection, and no soul will be wronged in the least. Even if a deed is the weight of a mustard seed, We will bring it forth. Sufficient are We as Reckoners.} [Surat al-Anbiyā': 47]" Thereupon, the man said: "By Allah, O Messenger of Allah, I see nothing better for myself and them than parting with them. Bear witness that they are all free."

Na kutoka kwa Ibn Omari Radhi za Allah ziwe juu yake na baba yake: Ya kwamba Mtume -Rehema na amani ziwe juu yake- aliwahutubia watu siku ya ufunguzi wa mji wa Makka, akasema: "Enyi watu hakika Mwenyezi Mungu ameondosha kwenu nyinyi kiburi cha zama za ujinga, na kujifaharisha kwa nasaba , basi watu wako aina mbili: Mwema mchamungu mtukufu kwa Mwenyezi Mungu, na muovu mbaya dhalili kwa Mwenyezi Mungu, na watu wote ni wana wa Adam, na amemuumba Mwenyezi Mungu Adam kutokana na udongo. Amesema Mwenyezi Mungu: "Enyi watu hakika sisi tumekuumbeni kutokana na mwanaume na mwanamke na tukakufanyeni kuwa mataifa na makabila tofauti tofauti, ili mfahamiane, hakika mbora wenu kwa Mwenyezi Mungu ni mchamungu wenu, hakika Mwenyezi Mungu ni mjuzi na ana habari (za mambo yote)" [Al Hujuraat: 13].

Ibn ‘Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) reported: The Messenger of Allah (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) delivered a speech on the day of the Conquest of Makkah. He said: "O people, verily Allah has removed the arrogance of jāhiliyyah from you and their boastfulness about their forefathers. So, now, there are two types of men: a righteous, pious, and honorable person in the sight of Allah and a wicked, wretched, and insignificant person in the sight of Allah. People are the children of Adam, and Allah created Adam from dust. Allah says: {O mankind, We have created you from a male and a female, and made you into nations and tribes so that you may recognize one another. Indeed, the most noble of you before Allah is the most righteous among you. Indeed, Allah is All-Knowing and all-aware.} [Surat al-Hujurāt: 13]"

Kutoka kwa Zubairi bin Awwam amesema: Ilipoteremka: "Kisha hakika bila shaka mtakuja kuulizwa kuhusu neema" [Takathur: 8], akasema Zubairi: Ewe Mjumbe wa Mwenyezi Mungu, ni neema zipi tutakazooulizwa juu yake, au ni hivi vyeusi viwili tende na maji (Vyakula na vinywaji kwa ujumla)? Akasema: "Hakika bila shaka zitakuwa hizo".

Az-Zubayr ibn al-‘Awwām reported: When the following verse was revealed {Then, on that Day, you will definitely be questioned about your worldly pleasures.} [Surat at-Takāthur: 8], Az-Zubayr said: "O Messenger of Allah, which pleasures will we be asked about; there are only the two black things: dates and water?" He said: "This will certainly come."

Imepokelewa kutoka kwa Jundubu bin Abdillah radhi za Allah ziwe juu yake amesema: Tulikuwa pamoja Mtume rehema na amani ziwe juu yake nasi tukiwa vijana karibu na balehe, tukajifunza imani kabla ya kujifunza Qur'ani, kisha tukajifunza Qur'ani, tukaongeza imani kupitia Qur'ani.

Jundub ibn ‘Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) reported: We were with the Prophet (ﷺ) while we were young men close to maturity. We learned Imān (faith) before we learned the Qur’an; then we learned the Qur’an, and it increased us in faith.

Imepokelewa kutoka kwa Abdullahi Bin Omar -Radhi za Mwenyezi Mungu ziwe juu yao- amesema: Amesema Mtume wa Mwenyezi Mungu -Rehema na amani ziwe juu yake-: "Ataambiwa msomaji wa Qur'ani: Soma na upande daraja, na soma kwa utulivu kama ulivyokuwa ukisoma Duniani, kwa hakika upandaji wa cheo chako utakomea katika Aya ya mwisho utakayoisoma."

‘Abdullāh ibn ‘Amr (may Allah be pleased with him) reported: The Messenger of Allah (may Allah’s peace and blessings be upon him) said: "It will be said to the one devoted to the Qur’an: Read, ascend, and recite with deliberation as you used to recite in the world. Your rank will be at the last verse you recite."

Kutoka kwa Ally radhi za Allah ziwe juu yake amesema: Alikuwa Mtume rehema na amani ziwe juu yake akitusomesha Qur'ani katika kila hali madamu hana janaba.

‘Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) reported: The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) used to teach us the Qur’an in every state, except when he was in a state of Janābah (major ritual impurity).
