وَٱلسَّمَآءِ ذَاتِ ٱلْبُرُوجِ ١
Naapa kwa mbingu yenye Buruji!
By the sky containing great stars
SURA YA 85
MAKKA

البُرُوج
Al-Burooj · Al-Burooj
Maana: "Nyota Kubwa"
BISMILLAHIR RAHMAANIR RAHIIM
بِسْمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ
Kwa jina la Mwenyezi Mungu, Mwingi wa Rehema, Mwenye Kurehemu
وَٱلْيَوْمِ ٱلْمَوْعُودِ ٢
Na kwa siku iliyo ahidiwa!
And [by] the promised Day
وَشَاهِدٍۢ وَمَشْهُودٍۢ ٣
Na kwa shahidi na kinacho shuhudiwa!
And [by] the witness and what is witnessed,
قُتِلَ أَصْحَٰبُ ٱلْأُخْدُودِ ٤
Wameangamizwa watu wa makhandaki
Cursed were the companions of the trench
ٱلنَّارِ ذَاتِ ٱلْوَقُودِ ٥
Yenye moto wenye kuni nyingi,
[Containing] the fire full of fuel,
إِذْ هُمْ عَلَيْهَا قُعُودٌۭ ٦
Walipo kuwa wamekaa hapo,
When they were sitting near it
وَهُمْ عَلَىٰ مَا يَفْعَلُونَ بِٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ شُهُودٌۭ ٧
Na wao ni mashahidi wa yale waliyo kuwa wakiwafanyia Waumini.
And they, to what they were doing against the believers, were witnesses.
وَمَا نَقَمُوا۟ مِنْهُمْ إِلَّآ أَن يُؤْمِنُوا۟ بِٱللَّهِ ٱلْعَزِيزِ ٱلْحَمِيدِ ٨
Nao hawakuona baya lolote kwao ila kuwa wakimuamini Mwenyezi Mungu, Mwenye nguvu, Msifiwa,
And they resented them not except because they believed in Allah, the Exalted in Might, the Praiseworthy,
ٱلَّذِى لَهُۥ مُلْكُ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ وَٱلْأَرْضِ ۚ وَٱللَّهُ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَىْءٍۢ شَهِيدٌ ٩
Ambaye anao ufalme wa mbingu na ardhi; na Mwenyezi Mungu ni shaahidi wa kila kitu.
To whom belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth. And Allah, over all things, is Witness.
إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ فَتَنُوا۟ ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ وَٱلْمُؤْمِنَٰتِ ثُمَّ لَمْ يَتُوبُوا۟ فَلَهُمْ عَذَابُ جَهَنَّمَ وَلَهُمْ عَذَابُ ٱلْحَرِيقِ ١٠
Hakika walio wafitini Waumini wanaume na Waumini wanawake, kisha hawakutubu, basi watapata adhabu ya Jahannamu na watapata adhabu ya kuungua.
Indeed, those who have tortured the believing men and believing women and then have not repented will have the punishment of Hell, and they will have the punishment of the Burning Fire.
إِنَّ ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُوا۟ وَعَمِلُوا۟ ٱلصَّٰلِحَٰتِ لَهُمْ جَنَّٰتٌۭ تَجْرِى مِن تَحْتِهَا ٱلْأَنْهَٰرُ ۚ ذَٰلِكَ ٱلْفَوْزُ ٱلْكَبِيرُ ١١
Hakika walio amini na wakatenda mema watapata Bustani zenye mito ipitayo kati yake. Huko ndiko kufuzu kukubwa.
Indeed, those who have believed and done righteous deeds will have gardens beneath which rivers flow. That is the great attainment.
إِنَّ بَطْشَ رَبِّكَ لَشَدِيدٌ ١٢
Hakika kutesa kwa Mola wako Mlezi ni kukali.
Indeed, the vengeance of your Lord is severe.
إِنَّهُۥ هُوَ يُبْدِئُ وَيُعِيدُ ١٣
Yeye ndiye anaye anzisha na ndiye anaye rejeza tena,
Indeed, it is He who originates [creation] and repeats.
وَهُوَ ٱلْغَفُورُ ٱلْوَدُودُ ١٤
Naye ni Mwenye kusamehe, Mwenye mapenzi,
And He is the Forgiving, the Affectionate,
ذُو ٱلْعَرْشِ ٱلْمَجِيدُ ١٥
Mwenye Kiti cha Enzi, Mtukufu,
Honorable Owner of the Throne,
فَعَّالٌۭ لِّمَا يُرِيدُ ١٦
Atendaye ayatakayo.
Effecter of what He intends.
هَلْ أَتَىٰكَ حَدِيثُ ٱلْجُنُودِ ١٧
Je! Zimekuwasilia khabari za majeshi?
Has there reached you the story of the soldiers -
فِرْعَوْنَ وَثَمُودَ ١٨
Ya Firauni na Thamudi?
[Those of] Pharaoh and Thamud?
بَلِ ٱلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ فِى تَكْذِيبٍۢ ١٩
Lakini walio kufuru wamo katika kukadhibisha.
But they who disbelieve are in [persistent] denial,
وَٱللَّهُ مِن وَرَآئِهِم مُّحِيطٌۢ ٢٠
Na Mwenyezi Mungu nyuma yao amewazunguka.
While Allah encompasses them from behind.
بَلْ هُوَ قُرْءَانٌۭ مَّجِيدٌۭ ٢١
Bali hii ni Qur'ani tukufu
But this is an honored Qur'an
فِى لَوْحٍۢ مَّحْفُوظٍۭ ٢٢
Katika Ubao Ulio Hifadhiwa.
[Inscribed] in a Preserved Slate.
