Al-Mursalaat (المُرْسَلَات) · Qur'ani Tukufu

وَٱلْمُرْسَلَٰتِ عُرْفًۭا ١

Naapa kwa zinazo tumwa kwa upole!

By those [winds] sent forth in gusts

فَٱلْعَٰصِفَٰتِ عَصْفًۭا ٢

Na zinazo vuma kwa kasi!

And the winds that blow violently

وَٱلنَّٰشِرَٰتِ نَشْرًۭا ٣

Na zikaeneza maeneo yote!

And [by] the winds that spread [clouds]

فَٱلْفَٰرِقَٰتِ فَرْقًۭا ٤

Na zinazo farikisha zikatawanya!

And those [angels] who bring criterion

فَٱلْمُلْقِيَٰتِ ذِكْرًا ٥

Na zinazo peleka mawaidha!

And those [angels] who deliver a message

عُذْرًا أَوْ نُذْرًا ٦

Kwa kuudhuru au kuonya,

As justification or warning,

إِنَّمَا تُوعَدُونَ لَوَٰقِعٌۭ ٧

Hakika mnayo ahidiwa bila ya shaka yatakuwa!

Indeed, what you are promised is to occur.

فَإِذَا ٱلنُّجُومُ طُمِسَتْ ٨

Wakati nyota zitakapo futwa,

So when the stars are obliterated

وَإِذَا ٱلسَّمَآءُ فُرِجَتْ ٩

Na mbingu zitakapo pasuliwa,

And when the heaven is opened

وَإِذَا ٱلْجِبَالُ نُسِفَتْ ١٠

Na milima itakapo peperushwa,

And when the mountains are blown away

وَإِذَا ٱلرُّسُلُ أُقِّتَتْ ١١

Na Mitume watakapo wekewa wakati wao,

And when the messengers' time has come...

لِأَىِّ يَوْمٍ أُجِّلَتْ ١٢

Kwa siku gani hiyo wamewekewa muda huo?

For what Day was it postponed?

لِيَوْمِ ٱلْفَصْلِ ١٣

Kwa siku ya kupambanua!

For the Day of Judgement.

وَمَآ أَدْرَىٰكَ مَا يَوْمُ ٱلْفَصْلِ ١٤

Na nini kitakacho kujuulisha siku ya kupambanua ni nini?

And what can make you know what is the Day of Judgement?

وَيْلٌۭ يَوْمَئِذٍۢ لِّلْمُكَذِّبِينَ ١٥

Ole wao, siku hiyo hao wanao kanusha!

Woe, that Day, to the deniers.

أَلَمْ نُهْلِكِ ٱلْأَوَّلِينَ ١٦

Kwani hatukuwaangamiza walio tangulia?

Did We not destroy the former peoples?

ثُمَّ نُتْبِعُهُمُ ٱلْءَاخِرِينَ ١٧

Kisha tukawafuatilizia walio fuatia?

Then We will follow them with the later ones.

كَذَٰلِكَ نَفْعَلُ بِٱلْمُجْرِمِينَ ١٨

Ndio kama hivi tuwatendavyo wakosefu!

Thus do We deal with the criminals.

وَيْلٌۭ يَوْمَئِذٍۢ لِّلْمُكَذِّبِينَ ١٩

Ole wao siku hiyo hao wanao kanusha!

Woe, that Day, to the deniers.

أَلَمْ نَخْلُقكُّم مِّن مَّآءٍۢ مَّهِينٍۢ ٢٠

Kwani hatukukuumbeni kwa maji ya kudharauliwa?

Did We not create you from a liquid disdained?

فَجَعَلْنَٰهُ فِى قَرَارٍۢ مَّكِينٍ ٢١

Kisha tukayaweka mahali pa utulivu madhubuti?

And We placed it in a firm lodging

إِلَىٰ قَدَرٍۢ مَّعْلُومٍۢ ٢٢

Mpaka muda maalumu?

For a known extent.

فَقَدَرْنَا فَنِعْمَ ٱلْقَٰدِرُونَ ٢٣

Tukakadiria na Sisi ni wabora wa kukadiria.

And We determined [it], and excellent [are We] to determine.

وَيْلٌۭ يَوْمَئِذٍۢ لِّلْمُكَذِّبِينَ ٢٤

Ole wao siku hiyo hao wanao kanusha!

Woe, that Day, to the deniers.

أَلَمْ نَجْعَلِ ٱلْأَرْضَ كِفَاتًا ٢٥

Kwani hatukuifanya ardhi yenye kukusanya

Have We not made the earth a container

أَحْيَآءًۭ وَأَمْوَٰتًۭا ٢٦

Walio hai na maiti?

Of the living and the dead?

وَجَعَلْنَا فِيهَا رَوَٰسِىَ شَٰمِخَٰتٍۢ وَأَسْقَيْنَٰكُم مَّآءًۭ فُرَاتًۭا ٢٧

Na ndani yake tukaweka milima mirefu yenye kuthibiti, na tunakunywesheni maji matamu?

And We placed therein lofty, firmly set mountains and have given you to drink sweet water.

وَيْلٌۭ يَوْمَئِذٍۢ لِّلْمُكَذِّبِينَ ٢٨

Ole wao siku hiyo hao wanao kanusha!

Woe, that Day, to the deniers.

ٱنطَلِقُوٓا۟ إِلَىٰ مَا كُنتُم بِهِۦ تُكَذِّبُونَ ٢٩

Nendeni kwenye adhabu mliyo kuwa mkiikanusha!

[They will be told], "Proceed to that which you used to deny.

ٱنطَلِقُوٓا۟ إِلَىٰ ظِلٍّۢ ذِى ثَلَٰثِ شُعَبٍۢ ٣٠

Nendeni kwenye kivuli chenye mapande matatu!

Proceed to a shadow [of smoke] having three columns

لَّا ظَلِيلٍۢ وَلَا يُغْنِى مِنَ ٱللَّهَبِ ٣١

Hakikingi moto, wala hakiwaepushi na mwako.

[But having] no cool shade and availing not against the flame."

إِنَّهَا تَرْمِى بِشَرَرٍۢ كَٱلْقَصْرِ ٣٢

Hakika Moto huo unatoa macheche kama majumba!

Indeed, it throws sparks [as huge] as a fortress,

كَأَنَّهُۥ جِمَٰلَتٌۭ صُفْرٌۭ ٣٣

Kama kwamba ni ngamia wa rangi ya manjano!

As if they were yellowish [black] camels.

وَيْلٌۭ يَوْمَئِذٍۢ لِّلْمُكَذِّبِينَ ٣٤

Ole wao siku hiyo hao wanao kanusha!

Woe, that Day, to the deniers.

هَٰذَا يَوْمُ لَا يَنطِقُونَ ٣٥

Hii ni siku ambayo hawatatamka kitu,

This is a Day they will not speak,

وَلَا يُؤْذَنُ لَهُمْ فَيَعْتَذِرُونَ ٣٦

Wala hawataruhusiwa kutoa udhuru.

Nor will it be permitted for them to make an excuse.

وَيْلٌۭ يَوْمَئِذٍۢ لِّلْمُكَذِّبِينَ ٣٧

Ole wao siku hiyo hao walio kanusha!

Woe, that Day, to the deniers.

هَٰذَا يَوْمُ ٱلْفَصْلِ ۖ جَمَعْنَٰكُمْ وَٱلْأَوَّلِينَ ٣٨

Hii ndiyo siku ya kupambanua. Tumekukusanyeni nyinyi na walio tangulia.

This is the Day of Judgement; We will have assembled you and the former peoples.

فَإِن كَانَ لَكُمْ كَيْدٌۭ فَكِيدُونِ ٣٩

Ikiwa mnayo hila, nifanyieni hila Mimi!

So if you have a plan, then plan against Me.

وَيْلٌۭ يَوْمَئِذٍۢ لِّلْمُكَذِّبِينَ ٤٠

Ole wao siku hiyo hao walio kanusha!

Woe, that Day, to the deniers.

إِنَّ ٱلْمُتَّقِينَ فِى ظِلَٰلٍۢ وَعُيُونٍۢ ٤١

Hakika wachamngu watakuwa katika vivuli na chemchem,

Indeed, the righteous will be among shades and springs

وَفَوَٰكِهَ مِمَّا يَشْتَهُونَ ٤٢

Na matunda wanayo yapenda,

And fruits from whatever they desire,

كُلُوا۟ وَٱشْرَبُوا۟ هَنِيٓـًٔۢا بِمَا كُنتُمْ تَعْمَلُونَ ٤٣

Kuleni na kunyweni kwa furaha kwa yale mliyo kuwa mkiyatenda.

[Being told], "Eat and drink in satisfaction for what you used to do."

إِنَّا كَذَٰلِكَ نَجْزِى ٱلْمُحْسِنِينَ ٤٤

Hakika ndio kama hivyo tunavyo walipa watendao mema.

Indeed, We thus reward the doers of good.

وَيْلٌۭ يَوْمَئِذٍۢ لِّلْمُكَذِّبِينَ ٤٥

Ole wao siku hiyo hao wanao kanusha!

Woe, that Day, to the deniers.

كُلُوا۟ وَتَمَتَّعُوا۟ قَلِيلًا إِنَّكُم مُّجْرِمُونَ ٤٦

Kuleni na mjifurahishe kidogo tu. Hakika nyinyi ni wakosefu!

[O disbelievers], eat and enjoy yourselves a little; indeed, you are criminals.

وَيْلٌۭ يَوْمَئِذٍۢ لِّلْمُكَذِّبِينَ ٤٧

Ole wao siku hiyo hao wanao kanusha!

Woe, that Day, to the deniers.

وَإِذَا قِيلَ لَهُمُ ٱرْكَعُوا۟ لَا يَرْكَعُونَ ٤٨

Na wakiambiwa: Inameni! Hawainami.

And when it is said to them, "Bow [in prayer]," they do not bow.

وَيْلٌۭ يَوْمَئِذٍۢ لِّلْمُكَذِّبِينَ ٤٩

Ole wao siku hiyo hao wanao kanusha!

Woe, that Day, to the deniers.

فَبِأَىِّ حَدِيثٍۭ بَعْدَهُۥ يُؤْمِنُونَ ٥٠

Basi maneno gani baada ya haya watayaamini?

Then in what statement after the Qur'an will they believe?
