Mlango wa 872: Kitabu cha Mambo Yaliyokatazwa (Makatazo)

عن أبي زيد ثابت بن الضحاك الأنصاري رضي الله عنه، وهو من أهل بيعة الرضوان قال: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم : "من حلف على يمين بملة غير الإسلام كاذبًا متعمدًا، فهو كما قال، ومن قتل نفسه بشيء، عُذب به يوم القيامة، وليس على رجل نذر فيما لا يملكه، ولعن المؤمن كقتله" ((متفق عليه)).

Kutoka kwa Abu Zaid Thabit bin Ad-Dahhak Al-Ansari (May Allah be pleased with him( (he is one of those who gave their pledge of allegiance to the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) under the Tree) said: "The Mjumbe wa Allah (Rehema na amani za Allah ziwe juu yake) said, "He who swears by a religion other than that of Islam, is like what he has professed. He who kills himself with something, will be tormented with it on the Siku ya Qiyama. A person is not bound to fulfill a vow about something which he does not possess. Cursing a muumini is like murdering him."."

وعن سفيان بن عبد الله رضي الله عنه قال: قلت يا رسول الله حدثني بأمر أعتصم به قال: " قل ربي الله ثم استقم" قلت: يا رسول الله ما أخوف ما تخاف علي؟ فأخذ بلسان نفسه، ثم قال: “هذا”. رواه الترمذي وقال حديث حسن صحيح.

Kutoka kwa Sufyan bin 'Abdullah (Radhi za Allah ziwe juu yake) reported: "I asked: "Ewe Mjumbe wa Allah! Tell me, of something to which I may remain steadfast." He (ﷺ) said, "Say: My Rubb is Allah and then remain steadfast." Then I said: "Ewe Mjumbe wa Allah! What do you fear most about me?" He took hold of his own tongue and said: "This."."
