Mlango wa 388: Kitabu cha Fadhila za Amali na Ibada

وعن عبد الله- وقيل: عمرو بن قيس المعروف بابن أم مكتوم المؤذن رضي الله عنه أنه قال: يا رسول الله إن المدينة كثيرة الهوام والسباع. فقال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم : "تسمع حي على الصلاة، حي على الفلاح، فحيهلا" ((رواه أبو داود بإسناد حسن. (12)

Kutoka kwa 'Abdullah bin Umm Maktum, the Mu'adhdhin (Radhi za Allah ziwe juu yake) reported: "I said to the Mjumbe wa Allah (Rehema na amani za Allah ziwe juu yake): "There are many poisonous insects and wild beasts in Al-Madinah, and I am blind. Please grant me permission to perform Salat at home." He (ﷺ) enquired whether he could hear the call: Hayya 'alas-Salah; Hayya 'alal-Falah (Come to the swala, come to the salvation). When he replied in affirmative, the Mjumbe wa Allah (Rehema na amani za Allah ziwe juu yake) directed him to come (to mosque) for swala."."

وعن جابر رضي الله عنه قال: أتيت النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم فدققت الباب، فقال "من ذا؟" فقلت: أنا، فقال: "أنا أنا؟!" كـأنه كرهها ((متفق عليه)).

Kutoka kwa Jabir bin Abdullah (Radhi za Allah ziwe juu yake) reported: "I went to Mtume (Rehema na amani za Allah ziwe juu yake) and knocked at the door (to seek permission). He asked, "Who is there?" I said: "I". He repeated, " I, I?!" as if he disliked it.."
