Mlango wa 184: Kitabu cha Kusalimiana na Heshima

عن سهل بن سعد رضي الله عنه قال: كانت فينا امرأة -وفي رواية: كانت لنا عجوز- تأخذ من أصول السلق فتطرحه في القدر، وتكركر حبات من شعير، فإذا صلينا الجمعة، وانصرفنا، نُسلم عليها، فتقدمه إلينا" ((رواه البخاري)).

Kutoka kwa Sahl bin Sa`d (Radhi za Allah ziwe juu yake) reported: "There was a woman (in another narration; an old woman) among us who would put beet root in a pot and add to it some ground barley. She used to cook them together. On returning from the Friday swala, we would greet her and she would offer it to us. ."

وعنه قال: سمعت رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم يقول: "إنما يلبس الحرير من لا خلاق له".((متفق عليه)) وفى رواية للبخاري: "من لا خلاق له في الآخرة"

Kutoka kwa 'Umar bin Al-Khattab (Radhi za Allah ziwe juu yake) reported: "I heard the Mjumbe wa Allah (Rehema na amani za Allah ziwe juu yake) saying, "Silk (clothes) are worn only by he who has no share in the Hereafter.". Another narration is: "Who has no share in the Hereafter.""
