Adh-Dhaariyaat (الذَّارِيَات) · Qur'ani Tukufu

وَٱلذَّٰرِيَٰتِ ذَرْوًۭا ١

Naapa kwa pepo zinazo tawanya,

By those [winds] scattering [dust] dispersing

فَٱلْحَٰمِلَٰتِ وِقْرًۭا ٢

Na zinazo beba mizigo,

And those [clouds] carrying a load [of water]

فَٱلْجَٰرِيَٰتِ يُسْرًۭا ٣

Na zinazo kwenda kwa wepesi.

And those [ships] sailing with ease

فَٱلْمُقَسِّمَٰتِ أَمْرًا ٤

Na zinazo gawanya kwa amri,

And those [angels] apportioning [each] matter,

إِنَّمَا تُوعَدُونَ لَصَادِقٌۭ ٥

Hakika mnayo ahidiwa bila ya shaka ni kweli,

Indeed, what you are promised is true.

وَإِنَّ ٱلدِّينَ لَوَٰقِعٌۭ ٦

Na kwa hakika malipo bila ya shaka yatatokea.

And indeed, the recompense is to occur.

وَٱلسَّمَآءِ ذَاتِ ٱلْحُبُكِ ٧

Naapa kwa mbingu zenye njia,

By the heaven containing pathways,

إِنَّكُمْ لَفِى قَوْلٍۢ مُّخْتَلِفٍۢ ٨

Hakika nyinyi bila ya shaka mmo katika kauli inayo khitalifiana.

Indeed, you are in differing speech.

يُؤْفَكُ عَنْهُ مَنْ أُفِكَ ٩

Anageuzwa kutokana na haki mwenye kugeuzwa.

Deluded away from the Qur'an is he who is deluded.

قُتِلَ ٱلْخَرَّٰصُونَ ١٠

Wazushi wameangamizwa.

Destroyed are the falsifiers

ٱلَّذِينَ هُمْ فِى غَمْرَةٍۢ سَاهُونَ ١١

Ambao wameghafilika katika ujinga.

Who are within a flood [of confusion] and heedless.

يَسْـَٔلُونَ أَيَّانَ يَوْمُ ٱلدِّينِ ١٢

Wanauliza: Ni lini hiyo siku ya malipo?

They ask, "When is the Day of Recompense?"

يَوْمَ هُمْ عَلَى ٱلنَّارِ يُفْتَنُونَ ١٣

Hiyo ni siku watakayo adhibiwa Motoni.

[It is] the Day they will be tormented over the Fire

ذُوقُوا۟ فِتْنَتَكُمْ هَٰذَا ٱلَّذِى كُنتُم بِهِۦ تَسْتَعْجِلُونَ ١٤

Onjeni adhabu yenu! Haya ndiyo mliyo kuwa mkiyahimiza.

[And will be told], "Taste your torment. This is that for which you were impatient."

إِنَّ ٱلْمُتَّقِينَ فِى جَنَّٰتٍۢ وَعُيُونٍ ١٥

Hakika wachamngu watakuwa katika Mabustani na chemchem.

Indeed, the righteous will be among gardens and springs,

ءَاخِذِينَ مَآ ءَاتَىٰهُمْ رَبُّهُمْ ۚ إِنَّهُمْ كَانُوا۟ قَبْلَ ذَٰلِكَ مُحْسِنِينَ ١٦

Wanapokea aliyo wapa Mola wao Mlezi. Kwa hakika hao walikuwa kabla ya haya wakifanya mema.

Accepting what their Lord has given them. Indeed, they were before that doers of good.

كَانُوا۟ قَلِيلًۭا مِّنَ ٱلَّيْلِ مَا يَهْجَعُونَ ١٧

Walikuwa wakilala kidogo tu usiku.

They used to sleep but little of the night,

وَبِٱلْأَسْحَارِ هُمْ يَسْتَغْفِرُونَ ١٨

Na kabla ya alfajiri wakiomba maghfira.

And in the hours before dawn they would ask forgiveness,

وَفِىٓ أَمْوَٰلِهِمْ حَقٌّۭ لِّلسَّآئِلِ وَٱلْمَحْرُومِ ١٩

Na katika mali yao ipo haki ya mwenye kuomba na asiye omba.

And from their properties was [given] the right of the [needy] petitioner and the deprived.

وَفِى ٱلْأَرْضِ ءَايَٰتٌۭ لِّلْمُوقِنِينَ ٢٠

Na katika ardhi zipo Ishara kwa wenye yakini.

And on the earth are signs for the certain [in faith]

وَفِىٓ أَنفُسِكُمْ ۚ أَفَلَا تُبْصِرُونَ ٢١

Na pia katika nafsi zenu - Je! Hamwoni?

And in yourselves. Then will you not see?

وَفِى ٱلسَّمَآءِ رِزْقُكُمْ وَمَا تُوعَدُونَ ٢٢

Na katika mbingu ziko riziki zenu na mliyo ahidiwa.

And in the heaven is your provision and whatever you are promised.

فَوَرَبِّ ٱلسَّمَآءِ وَٱلْأَرْضِ إِنَّهُۥ لَحَقٌّۭ مِّثْلَ مَآ أَنَّكُمْ تَنطِقُونَ ٢٣

Basi naapa kwa Mola Mlezi wa mbingu na ardhi, hakika haya ni kweli kama ilivyo kweli kuwa nyinyi mnasema.

Then by the Lord of the heaven and earth, indeed, it is truth - just as [sure as] it is that you are speaking.

هَلْ أَتَىٰكَ حَدِيثُ ضَيْفِ إِبْرَٰهِيمَ ٱلْمُكْرَمِينَ ٢٤

Je! Imekufikia hadithi ya wageni wa Ibrahim wanao hishimiwa?

Has there reached you the story of the honored guests of Abraham? -

إِذْ دَخَلُوا۟ عَلَيْهِ فَقَالُوا۟ سَلَٰمًۭا ۖ قَالَ سَلَٰمٌۭ قَوْمٌۭ مُّنكَرُونَ ٢٥

Walipo ingia kwake wakasema: Salama! Na yeye akasema: Salama! Nyinyi ni watu nisio kujueni.

When they entered upon him and said, "[We greet you with] peace." He answered, "[And upon you] peace, [you are] a people unknown.

فَرَاغَ إِلَىٰٓ أَهْلِهِۦ فَجَآءَ بِعِجْلٍۢ سَمِينٍۢ ٢٦

Akenda kwa ahali yake na akaja na ndama aliye nona.

Then he went to his family and came with a fat [roasted] calf

فَقَرَّبَهُۥٓ إِلَيْهِمْ قَالَ أَلَا تَأْكُلُونَ ٢٧

Akawakaribisha, akasema: Mbona hamli?

And placed it near them; he said, "Will you not eat?"

فَأَوْجَسَ مِنْهُمْ خِيفَةًۭ ۖ قَالُوا۟ لَا تَخَفْ ۖ وَبَشَّرُوهُ بِغُلَٰمٍ عَلِيمٍۢ ٢٨

Akahisi kuwaogopa katika nafsi yake. Wakasema: Usiwe na khofu, nao wakambashiria kupata kijana mwenye ilimu.

And he felt from them apprehension. They said, "Fear not," and gave him good tidings of a learned boy.

فَأَقْبَلَتِ ٱمْرَأَتُهُۥ فِى صَرَّةٍۢ فَصَكَّتْ وَجْهَهَا وَقَالَتْ عَجُوزٌ عَقِيمٌۭ ٢٩

Ndipo mkewe akawaelekea, na huku anasema na akijipiga usoni kwa mastaajabu, na kusema: Mimi ni kikongwe na tasa!

And his wife approached with a cry [of alarm] and struck her face and said, "[I am] a barren old woman!"

قَالُوا۟ كَذَٰلِكِ قَالَ رَبُّكِ ۖ إِنَّهُۥ هُوَ ٱلْحَكِيمُ ٱلْعَلِيمُ ٣٠

Wakasema: Ndivyo vivyo hivyo alivyo sema Mola wako Mlezi. Hakika Yeye ni Mwenye hikima na Mwenye kujua.

They said, "Thus has said your Lord; indeed, He is the Wise, the Knowing."

۞ قَالَ فَمَا خَطْبُكُمْ أَيُّهَا ٱلْمُرْسَلُونَ ٣١

AKASEMA: Basi ujumbe wenu ni nini, enyi mlio tumwa?

[Abraham] said, "Then what is your business [here], O messengers?"

قَالُوٓا۟ إِنَّآ أُرْسِلْنَآ إِلَىٰ قَوْمٍۢ مُّجْرِمِينَ ٣٢

Wakasema: Hakika sisi tumetumwa kwa watu wakosefu,

They said, "Indeed, we have been sent to a people of criminals

لِنُرْسِلَ عَلَيْهِمْ حِجَارَةًۭ مِّن طِينٍۢ ٣٣

Tuwatupie mawe ya udongo,

To send down upon them stones of clay,

مُّسَوَّمَةً عِندَ رَبِّكَ لِلْمُسْرِفِينَ ٣٤

Yaliyo tiwa alama kutoka kwa Mola wako Mlezi kwa ajili ya wanao pindukia mipaka.

Marked in the presence of your Lord for the transgressors."

فَأَخْرَجْنَا مَن كَانَ فِيهَا مِنَ ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ ٣٥

Kwa hivyo tutawatoa katika hao wale walio amini.

So We brought out whoever was in the cities of the believers.

فَمَا وَجَدْنَا فِيهَا غَيْرَ بَيْتٍۢ مِّنَ ٱلْمُسْلِمِينَ ٣٦

Lakini hatukupata humo ila nyumba moja tu yenye Waislamu!

And We found not within them other than a [single] house of Muslims.

وَتَرَكْنَا فِيهَآ ءَايَةًۭ لِّلَّذِينَ يَخَافُونَ ٱلْعَذَابَ ٱلْأَلِيمَ ٣٧

Na tukaacha humo Ishara kwa ajili ya wanao iogopa adhabu chungu.

And We left therein a sign for those who fear the painful punishment.

وَفِى مُوسَىٰٓ إِذْ أَرْسَلْنَٰهُ إِلَىٰ فِرْعَوْنَ بِسُلْطَٰنٍۢ مُّبِينٍۢ ٣٨

Na katika khabari za Musa, tulipo mtuma kwa Firauni na hoja wazi.

And in Moses [was a sign], when We sent him to Pharaoh with clear authority.

فَتَوَلَّىٰ بِرُكْنِهِۦ وَقَالَ سَٰحِرٌ أَوْ مَجْنُونٌۭ ٣٩

Lakini alipuuza kwa sababu ya nguvu zake na akasema: Huyu ni mchawi au mwendawazimu!

But he turned away with his supporters and said," A magician or a madman."

فَأَخَذْنَٰهُ وَجُنُودَهُۥ فَنَبَذْنَٰهُمْ فِى ٱلْيَمِّ وَهُوَ مُلِيمٌۭ ٤٠

Basi tukamkamata yeye na majeshi yake na tukawatupa baharini, na yeye ndiye wa kulaumiwa.

So We took him and his soldiers and cast them into the sea, and he was blameworthy.

وَفِى عَادٍ إِذْ أَرْسَلْنَا عَلَيْهِمُ ٱلرِّيحَ ٱلْعَقِيمَ ٤١

Na katika khabari za A'di tulipo wapelekea upepo wa kukata uzazi.

And in 'Aad [was a sign], when We sent against them the barren wind.

مَا تَذَرُ مِن شَىْءٍ أَتَتْ عَلَيْهِ إِلَّا جَعَلَتْهُ كَٱلرَّمِيمِ ٤٢

Haukuacha chochote ulicho kifikia ila ulikifanya kama kilio nyambuka.

It left nothing of what it came upon but that it made it like disintegrated ruins.

وَفِى ثَمُودَ إِذْ قِيلَ لَهُمْ تَمَتَّعُوا۟ حَتَّىٰ حِينٍۢ ٤٣

Na katika khabari za Thamudi walipo ambiwa: Jifurahisheni kwa muda mdogo tu.

And in Thamud, when it was said to them, "Enjoy yourselves for a time."

فَعَتَوْا۟ عَنْ أَمْرِ رَبِّهِمْ فَأَخَذَتْهُمُ ٱلصَّٰعِقَةُ وَهُمْ يَنظُرُونَ ٤٤

Wakaasi amri ya Mola wao Mlezi. Basi uliwanyakua moto wa radi nao wanaona.

But they were insolent toward the command of their Lord, so the thunderbolt seized them while they were looking on.

فَمَا ٱسْتَطَٰعُوا۟ مِن قِيَامٍۢ وَمَا كَانُوا۟ مُنتَصِرِينَ ٤٥

Basi hawakuweza kusimama wala hawakuwa wenye kujitetea.

And they were unable to arise, nor could they defend themselves.

وَقَوْمَ نُوحٍۢ مِّن قَبْلُ ۖ إِنَّهُمْ كَانُوا۟ قَوْمًۭا فَٰسِقِينَ ٤٦

Na kaumu ya Nuhu hapo mbele. Hakika hao walikuwa watu wapotovu.

And [We destroyed] the people of Noah before; indeed, they were a people defiantly disobedient.

وَٱلسَّمَآءَ بَنَيْنَٰهَا بِأَيْي۟دٍۢ وَإِنَّا لَمُوسِعُونَ ٤٧

Na mbingu tumezifanya kwa nguvu na uwezo na hakika Sisi bila ya shaka ndio twenye uwezo wa kuzitanua.

And the heaven We constructed with strength, and indeed, We are [its] expander.

وَٱلْأَرْضَ فَرَشْنَٰهَا فَنِعْمَ ٱلْمَٰهِدُونَ ٤٨

Na ardhi tumeitandaza; basi watandazaji wazuri namna gani Sisi!

And the earth We have spread out, and excellent is the preparer.

وَمِن كُلِّ شَىْءٍ خَلَقْنَا زَوْجَيْنِ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَذَكَّرُونَ ٤٩

Na katika kila kitu tumeumba kwa jozi ili mzingatie.

And of all things We created two mates; perhaps you will remember.

فَفِرُّوٓا۟ إِلَى ٱللَّهِ ۖ إِنِّى لَكُم مِّنْهُ نَذِيرٌۭ مُّبِينٌۭ ٥٠

Basi kimbilieni kwa Mwenyezi Mungu, hakika mimi ni mwonyaji kwenu wa kubainisha nitokae kwake.

So flee to Allah. Indeed, I am to you from Him a clear warner.

وَلَا تَجْعَلُوا۟ مَعَ ٱللَّهِ إِلَٰهًا ءَاخَرَ ۖ إِنِّى لَكُم مِّنْهُ نَذِيرٌۭ مُّبِينٌۭ ٥١

Wala msifanye kuwa kuna mungu mwengine pamoja na Mwenyezi Mungu. Hakika mimi ni mwonyaji kwenu wa kubainisha nitokae kwake.

And do not make [as equal] with Allah another deity. Indeed, I am to you from Him a clear warner.

كَذَٰلِكَ مَآ أَتَى ٱلَّذِينَ مِن قَبْلِهِم مِّن رَّسُولٍ إِلَّا قَالُوا۟ سَاحِرٌ أَوْ مَجْنُونٌ ٥٢

Basi ndio hivyo hivyo, hakuwajia kabla yao Mtume ila walisema: Huyu ni mchawi au mwendawazimu.

Similarly, there came not to those before them any messenger except that they said, "A magician or a madman."

أَتَوَاصَوْا۟ بِهِۦ ۚ بَلْ هُمْ قَوْمٌۭ طَاغُونَ ٥٣

Je! Wameambizana kwa haya? Bali hawa ni watu waasi.

Did they suggest it to them? Rather, they [themselves] are a transgressing people.

فَتَوَلَّ عَنْهُمْ فَمَآ أَنتَ بِمَلُومٍۢ ٥٤

Basi waachilie mbali, nawe hulaumiwi.

So leave them, [O Muhammad], for you are not to be blamed.

وَذَكِّرْ فَإِنَّ ٱلذِّكْرَىٰ تَنفَعُ ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ ٥٥

Na kumbusha, kwani ukumbusho huwafaa Waumini.

And remind, for indeed, the reminder benefits the believers.

وَمَا خَلَقْتُ ٱلْجِنَّ وَٱلْإِنسَ إِلَّا لِيَعْبُدُونِ ٥٦

Nami sikuwaumba majini na watu ila waniabudu Mimi.

And I did not create the jinn and mankind except to worship Me.

مَآ أُرِيدُ مِنْهُم مِّن رِّزْقٍۢ وَمَآ أُرِيدُ أَن يُطْعِمُونِ ٥٧

Na sitaki kwao riziki, wala sitaki wanilishe.

I do not want from them any provision, nor do I want them to feed Me.

إِنَّ ٱللَّهَ هُوَ ٱلرَّزَّاقُ ذُو ٱلْقُوَّةِ ٱلْمَتِينُ ٥٨

Hakika Mwenyezi Mungu ndiye Mwenye kuruzuku, Mwenye nguvu, Madhubuti.

Indeed, it is Allah who is the [continual] Provider, the firm possessor of strength.

فَإِنَّ لِلَّذِينَ ظَلَمُوا۟ ذَنُوبًۭا مِّثْلَ ذَنُوبِ أَصْحَٰبِهِمْ فَلَا يَسْتَعْجِلُونِ ٥٩

Hakika walio dhulumu wana fungu lao la adhabu kama fungu la wenzao. Basi wasinihimize.

And indeed, for those who have wronged is a portion [of punishment] like the portion of their predecessors, so let them not impatiently urge Me.

فَوَيْلٌۭ لِّلَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا۟ مِن يَوْمِهِمُ ٱلَّذِى يُوعَدُونَ ٦٠

Ole wao walio ikanusha siku yao waliyo ahidiwa.

And woe to those who have disbelieved from their Day which they are promised.
