وعن أبي عبد الرحمن عبد الله بن مسعود رضي الله عنه قال: كأني انظر إلى رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم يحكي نبياً من الأنبياء، صلوات الله وسلامه عليهم، ضربه قومه فأدموه وهو يمسح الدم عن وجهه، يقول : "اللهم اغفر لقومى فإنهم لا يعلمون" ((متفق عليه)) .

Tafsiri ya Kiswahili

Kutoka kwa 'Abdullah bin Mas'ud (Radhi za Allah ziwe juu yake) reported: "I can still recall as if I am seeing the Mjumbe wa Allah (Rehema na amani za Allah ziwe juu yake) resembling one of the Prophets whose people scourged him and shed his blood, while he wiped blood from his face, he said: "O Allah! Forgive my people, because they certainly do not know".."

English translation

'Abdullah bin Mas'ud (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: I can still recall as if I am seeing the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) resembling one of the Prophets whose people scourged him and shed his blood, while he wiped blood from his face, he said: "O Allah! Forgive my people, because they certainly do not know"..
