وعن رفاعة بن رافع الزرقي رضي الله عنه قال: جاء جبريل إلى النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم : "إذا أنزل الله تعالى بقوم عذاباً. وعن رفاعة بن رافع الزُّرَقِيِّ - رضي الله عنه - قال: جاء جبريل إلى النبيّ - صلى الله عليه وسلم - قال: مَا تَعُدُّونَ أهْلَ بَدْرٍ فِيكُمْ؟ قال: «مِنْ أفْضَلِ المُسْلِمِينَ» أوْ كَلِمَةً نَحْوَهَا. قال: وَكَذلِكَ مَنْ شَهِدَ بَدْرًا مِنَ المَلائِكَةِ. Tafsiri ya Kiswahili

Kutoka kwa Rifa'ah bin Rafi' Az-Zuraqi (Radhi za Allah ziwe juu yake) said: "Jibril (Gabriel) came to Mtume (Rehema na amani za Allah ziwe juu yake) and asked him: "How do you estimate among you those who participated in the battle of Badr?" He replied, "They were the best of Waislamu" (or he may have said something similar to that). Jibril said: "The same is the case with the angels who were at Badr."."

English translation

Rifa'ah bin Rafi' Az-Zuraqi (May Allah be pleased with him) said: Jibril (Gabriel) came to the Prophet (ﷺ) and asked him: "How do you estimate among you those who participated in the battle of Badr?" He replied, "They were the best of Muslims" (or he may have said something similar to that). Jibril said: "The same is the case with the angels who were at Badr.".
