عن عائشة رضي الله عنها ، قالت: كُنَّا نُعِدُّ لرسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم سِوَاكَهُ وَطَهُورَهُ، فَيَبْعَثُهُ الله ما شاء أن يَبْعَثَهُ من الليل، فَيَتَسَوَّكُ، ويتوضَّأ ويُصلي.
Kutoka kwa Aisha -Radhi za Mwenyezi Mungu ziwe juu yake- Amesema: Tulikuwa tukimuandalia Mjumbe wa Mwenyezi Mungu -Rehema na Amani ziwe juu yake- mswaki wake na (maji yake kwaajili ya) twahara, basi Mwenyezi Mungu anamuamsha kwa muda anaotaka aamke nyakati za usiku, anapiga mswaki, na anatawadha na anaswali
‘Ā'ishah (may Allah be pleased with her) reported: We used to prepare for the Messenger of Allah (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him) his tooth-stick and the water he used for making ablution. Then, Allah would awaken him whenever He willed during the night, and he would brush his teeth with the tooth-stick, make ablution, and perform prayer.
